Plan small self-care routines you'll actually keep. Talk things through with a chatbot when there's no one else awake. Keep a record of how you've really been doing.
Here's what each one is for, plainly — including the one part you don't get to see.
Pick activities from the library — sleep, movement, journaling, whatever helps — or type your own task if the thing that works for you isn't on the list. Tick them off as you go.
Say what you need to say. Vent, think out loud, or ask for a suggestion. It replies, and it doesn't get tired of you.
Check in with how you're feeling — pick one emotion or several, set how strong it is, add a line about why. After a week you can see which feelings kept coming back, and whether the days you did something for yourself went differently.
Not a quiz. You slide a rating from 1 to 10 for each area of well-being your Guidance Office set up, skip any that don't apply today, and get back a wellness wheel, your trend across check-ins, and suggestions aimed at your lowest areas first.
Breathing exercises, short reads on stress, and a handful of videos worth the five minutes. Nothing that takes an hour to get through.
This one runs quietly and the results are not yours to see. MindCare reads the tone of your chatbot sessions and passes a summary to the Guidance Office, so a counselor can notice a rough stretch without reading your conversations. If a message trips the crisis detector, they see that message.
Ask the Guidance Office for a session and say what you'd prefer — a time, in person or online. Your counselor confirms it, you can message them here, and you get a reminder the day before. What you talk about is between the two of you.
Your student details plus a photo of your ID. We email you a code each time you log in.
Pick a few activities from the list. Start with two or three — you can add more later.
Rant, think out loud, or ask for a suggestion. Rant Buddy is there at 2 a.m. too.
Your plans, what you actually finished, and the moods you logged — side by side, so the pattern is easier to see than to remember.
Rant Buddy is a chatbot, not a counselor — it won't diagnose you and it won't pretend to. What it will do is stay up with you, take the whole thing, and point you at something small you can try tonight.
Your conversations stay in your account. MindCare reads the tone of each session and sends the Guidance Office a summary — not a transcript, and not a feed of everything you typed.
You won't see those tone results yourself. They exist so a counselor can spot a rough stretch, and we'd rather not hand you a number that says how your week went.
